It's a disgrace for the tibetans (people from Bhot) to nickname some other races as Bhotes. Only they deserve to be called the PROUD '' BHOTES'' and no one else. The name has the prestige linked to it's deep rooted heritage , culture and the rich history ofthe ancient ''BHOT''i.e Tibet ,now unfortunately dominated by the Chinese. Mind your language when you cal " bhotes" to the non -tibetans (merely of their mongoliod features or their budhist religiion,i.e.to chinese or japanese or to nepali -gurung or buddhist newar). By doing that you are only offending the true BHOTES...ie the tibetans.No one can be be called by that name but theproud Bhotes of BHOT themselves. You don't deserve to be called BHOTES merely because you look like them .You have to be ONE to deserve the name. Just in case ,If the pandit bajjes are trying to defame them, please ignore them. This is just an old cheap trick of the HINDU PANDITS TO DEFAME BUDDHISM ever since they started migrating to nepal .
