Perhaps the only sad thing about true love is people expect it to last forever. True love, at times, is traded with the term called unconditional love. Thus, to determine the truth about it on the basis of time period of being together is self defeating argument. I say, time scale is secondary; realization is primary. Indeed the cost could be very high for true love; we all know it. But what is important for us to understand is the significance of it; the real value. Ummmm. . .on the second thought, does not love per-se is true. O.k. I give up. There is no such thing called true love. Love to be what it is has to be true. It does not have a choice "to be or not to be." I have yet to meet/read a person who has coined the logic for it to be otherwise. There is no such thing called false love.
