sorry gwajyo, i did not get your complete point. maybe, it me who's gwajyo. i am all for change. change for goodness. sometimes even change for mere change's sake. i see something wrong with "women inside burqas n' inside the periphery of their house in the name of traditions n' culture". i am all for change in that respect (and other ones where i see there's something wrong). i also buy your point vis-a-vis "If there's something wrong with our system, our monarchy, our tradition n' cultures n' even within us, why can't we change?" but i don't see ANYthing wrong with animal sacrifice. really. what's so bad about it? is it bad only because its part of our culture and not part of any of the "enlightened" cultures? plus, i like eating meat. yummmm. to cut it short, if you can convince me that animal sacrifice is bad, i will acquiese that we should get rid of it. if not, i am not ready to get rid of it because i benefit from it.
