i dont know if i can agree with jhyapu and coolnepali. when the internet came out, and magazines and newspapers started becoming available online, people thought that print media would become obsolete. that certainly did not happen. on the contrary, the sales of books and other print media increased. i think making some songs available online is a good thing. it gives the artists some publicity, and may enourage people to go out and buy entire albums. but i also agree that some of the advertising revenue that the website gets could be channeled to the artists. but advertising revenues can only go up when the number of hits to the website goes up. so if you want to help your artists, you should visit the site more often and tell your friends about it!
