I know a lot of people in the UN system, a lot of them in very respectable positions, some who had been resident representatives for the UN in different countries. I got to know them mostly through my dad,who served for the UN too. None of them oppose the monarchy right now, none of them support the anti king rally outside the UN. Except for the ones in the UN appointed by the government. (like Mr. Murari Raj Sharma..of whom I've heard a lot of things from first hand accounts). The first priority should be in solving the Maoist problem in nepal rather than fighting and debating over who gets to be on the top of the chain. Or else Nepal could be another Rwanda.
