Thank you everybody for your suggestions. I still can't understand how half the population of that country can be sidelined just because of some natural process. Anyway I will be there for a semester and would like to know more about the situation first hand. Thank you again for the support. I hope my trip won't be a disappointment as my parents,friends and US gov is predicting. Namaste.
