Hi, Why women are isolated from their children and other family members? I don't think I read it in a book specifically about this isolation process but, we all know blood comes out during mense and it is very highly contaminated with harmful bacteria. They are basically trying to save others from contamination. Back in the days they did not have any good thing that would absorb the blood very properly like tampons do today. Most of the women still do not have that privilage today in Nepal. That is why isolation is necessary. While in Mense it is better not to cook food for others. Try to reduce body contact. Try to stay clean. I think it same in your case too. We know now that the process of isolation is just trying to keep everyone safe. If you think it is ok if you take care. Why don't you try to teach women in Nepal too? There is nothing better than educating and sharing information. Isn't it? People in Nepal are very friendly, caring and loving. I wish you good luck. Hope you will enjoy.
