I see a danger of negativity brewing against "Palpasa Cafe", because of the award.
People will start having biased observation against the novel. e.g. Babblu Srivastav being compared with Narayan Wagle on the basis of popularity, not because of the content.
This kind of controversy will help sell more books out of curiosity among the general public like what the rock/pop stars do for their promotion of their albums.
