Do talk to the American Center people, and explain your (new) plans to them. Seek their advice on how you should plan on paying for your education. They are there to help Nepali candidates such as yourself, and the fact that you've successfully gone through the EWC selection process must make it easier for them to help you plan more realistically. Alternatively, your office ko haakim could write a short letter on your behalf too, saying that you earn this much per annum, and that that paying the applications fees would pose hardship to you.
