Missing hi-tech business???

I vividly remember those good old college days when we used to discuss a lot about hydro power economics. We used to calculate the production cost of electricity, internal consumption and benefit. If we go by those numbers, Nepal will be one of the richest country in the world within a few years. But those number are just the ?Pie of the sky?. The hydro power talks were than a big time jargon. This was partly because there were project like Arun, Kali Gandaki and Karnali. Today, the global economy is largely dominated by hi-tech industry. The slightest fever in NASDAQ worries the big economies. Why could not Nepal?s economy synchronize with this global economy? We are not as isolated as some of the African countries. I hope, Nepal as a country, will not be late in this hi-tech industry game. Pheri
