Over the last 10 years, KU MBAs have pretty much taken over most of the mid-level positions in corporate Nepal (i.e. banks, trading houses, manufacturing units, family businesses and so forth).
These guys, most of whom went to college in India and Nepal, have developed
excellent peer-to-peer/alumni networks when it comes to getting jobs in Nepal.
In the next 10 years, I'd expect more KU MBAs to rise to the top of most Nepali
'big' businesses, if some of them haven't done so already.
If you want to work in Nepal, getting an MBA from KU is a good investment of your
time and money. The program is respected by local recruiters, and the admission is not easy.
For those with full-time jobs, KU also offers an evening Executive MBA program.
In recent years, Ace Institute of Management in Baneswor has emerged as a good competitor to this KU School of Management.
