The names of all candidates, globally, were made public amid press conferences in their respective countries Wednesday, reports said. The declaration has been made demanding recognition for their contribution to peace building. During 2004, nominees were sought from across the globe with the help of 20 coordinators. Reports said that international project team, on October, had selected the 1000 women from over 2,000 from 153 countries.
