Whether Buddha was born in Nepal or India, it's still debatale though the Western world seem to take it as India. My personal knowledge says Nepal too. I was deeply offended when I heard it for the first time in US. When have DL said that? The greatest philosoher, teacher, monks and the gurus of Buddhism all come from India, even some from present day Bangladesh, Afganistan. Who's from Nepal? Nobody, except our belief that Buddha was a Nepali, which is still not clear in the history. So I don't think we need to dog Indians for that. Let it go, live the teachings of Buddha and not be so focus on politics around it. If you have some acrelogical proof, please help the Nepal with that one big glory. Who knows you might have found something in your back yard. The funny part... Why would DL give a damn about Bhutan, when he doesn't have his own country and a refugee himself.
