Problem with GM and FORD is not that they have good employees. They have. Their only problem is stupid executives at the management. Recently, an auto magazine claimed that GM plants are most efficient at producing cars in the nation. Efficient at producing cars which nobody wants to buy. Executives only care about their salary, perks, benefits, etc. All GM and FORD has to do is offer unthinkable $$$ to key designers and engineers who work in TOYOTA, HONDA, and NISSAN. Creativity is what is lacking with GM and FORD vehicles. Recent article in Wall Street mentions tells the same. Big 3 are just not good at producing what public wants. Only cars selling well right now are Mustang and Chrysler 300. Look at TOYOTA, NISSAN & HONDA. They are coming up with one model after another which is such a hit and consumers are paying premium for quality products. Toyota and Honda are way ahead of Big 3 in Hybrid. Withink next 5 yrs, Toyota will introduce Hybrid in all model.
