I worked for Khanepani Bibhag for five years. Mr. Pyakurel was Deputy Director General. He was a friendly, witty, and elegant person. As a district engineer, I had to communicate with him in a regular basis. While I had serious disagreements and heated discussions with him to the point we hated each other, he was a skilful engineer and a dynamic administrator. His untimely death is a big loss to society. May his soul rest in peace.
