A grave mistake... too bad those departed were not able to hear. Oh yeah forgot, they are martyrs, they should not complain. Of course not. They died for a great cause. Maoists apologise for civilian deaths KOL Report KATHMANDU, June 7 - The CPN-Maoist Tuesday admitted responsibility for the ambush of a bus carrying 150 passengers in Chitwan that left 38 people dead. A Maoist statement said that the ambush had been targeted at security personnel and called the loss of civilian lives a ?grave mistake.? The Maoists said that the attack had been contrary to ?party policy? and that they accepted self-criticism for the loss of civilian lives. They said that the Maoist fighters involved and the party members coordinating the attack had been suspended and that the incident would be investigated and the findings made public. It wasn?t the policy of the party to target innocent civilians and there had been no change in that policy, said the Maoists.
