I am in the cell and developmental biology area and focusing on cell migration in embryos especially how cells migrate through polarized epithelium, which is very important process during development, immune defense and metastasis. We use live imaging, Drosophila genetics and cell biology to address this issue. We have just found a gene encoding a novel G-protein coupled receptor required for this process. Currently trying to find out the signal for this receptor and downstream cascades. Hoping to finish in a year or so. AKunwarji, Neuroscience is pretty fascinating. I liked your project and have been thinking of doing Neurodevelopment after finishing graduate school. Let us see.
