This from Washington Post Missing Student Found Dead in Anacostia River The Associated Press Monday, April 25, 2005; 2:47 PM The search for a missing student from University of Maryland, College Park, came to a tragic end today in Washington. D.C. police said 22-year-old Arvin Sharma was pulled out of the Anacostia River after a passerby saw a body near the 11th Street Bridge and called police around 9:45 this morning. A police spokesman said an autopsy would determine the cause of death. Sharma was last seen April 16 at a nightclub in Southwest Washington. Relatives have said they suspect foul play and insisted it was unlike Sharma to disappear. Sharma was expected to graduate next month with a bachelor's degree.
