Wonderful how you infuse such enthusiastic scenarios into this hiking journal-- a quick peek into the frame of mind of a hiker, charged with sensorial ions. Perhaps, the combination of height, danger, and sheer physical exertion created a magnetic field, this hiker succumbed to--- well, almost!
I'm almost certain, "the kiss" would have set off a series of rockslides! Hence, entertaining the thought was a safer alternative to entertaining the "nano second" urge. :)

Meera, not a crush. Just a "friend", I hadn't seen in a while and with whom I hiked to re-connect to the past. Perhaps, the tension was more obvious 'cause of the absence of conversation.
