Well...when I had a PR back in 2002 May I was planning to take summer school and i called the canadian Immigration thats what they told me i.e I got to enter canada with in certain date that gave me unless they change their rules since then thats a different story... and for glden window you got to go and appy for a visa in US embassy or consulate if you juist have a PR but if its a canadian citizen you can show it up at the port of entry before you enter USA.
