Folks In this case it all depends on consular who is dealing your case, his mood. Last yearone of my friend came to US from germany. He was on student visa in germany ( Land of MOHMAD ATTA's University).My friend applied for US visa from germany.He said he didn't have any problem in getting visa. Another case one of my friend who applied from Toronto was rejected coz he was on student visa in tronto, the consular asked him to go to Nepal and apply for a visa.
