cinema-A sequence of photographs projected onto a screen with sufficient rapidity as to create the illusion of motion and continuity. If you cannot differetiate between reality and projected reality then what can I say. Cinema will always be someone's perception of reality. You can identify with it but gotta have your own perception of what is what. If you buy into their perception then you are noting but a sheep in the herd(and thats exactly what the medium is used for today). Now the question WHY MOVIES DON"T DEPICT REALITY ? Hmmmmm...... Well watch the news then ..hehe its full of reality. A movie is a director, writer, cinematographer, and actor's perception of reality. Now you can take it for face value for entertainment sake, or you can star up an arrested discussion like on this thread.
