First of all, the family is not Nepali and my friend (who is not very fluent in English) has very little/or no money. Hence, why I posted the dilemma here. With thanks to many of your inputs, especially, Seusi Dai who suggested enlisting a women's organization's help. She has now someone(a social worker) who speaks her language and a good attorney who has worked with such situations before. Thanks again!
