As for St.Xavier's, being a product of Xavier's let me assure you that (at least during the ten years that I spent at the school), never were we preached about Christianity. In fact, there used to be an American priest (brother) who used to teach from Upanishad and Geeta to 8th std boys. (Unfortunately by the time I reached 8th std he had already left). We used to pray every morning but we used to pray to "God" .. Christianity was never mentioned in the prayer. I don't know if it's still the same. That was in the eighties. Whew!
