As now it is clear, it's everyone's mother, or father, tht has to worry bout the shortge of water in Nepal, acutely so in KTM. Water in Pokhara, Trishuli, Bhirahawa etc is at least as bad as in KTM, I've lived all over there. This is a national problem requiring billions of dollars and a huge number of engineers, biologists, geologists, hydrologists, coordinators, economists, accountants, planners, environmentalists, doctors and other scientists and professionals collaborating together in tandem rather than one guy's dream job. The point I was trying to make was it's a paradox we have to waste our time for bringing peace to Nepal rather than to our stomach. ----------- Like anyone in KTM, my mom has this problem and she is, like many others, equipped with all kinds of hydrolic gears. Because these equipments are not fully automated, she still has to make sure they are functioning well in the middle of the night, a nuisance even by American standards I believe.
