Our King is a real hero of Nepal

I think that people who are against King Gyanendra's move should do or say more than 'i hate him' or 'he killed his brother'. What do you want? Do you have a creative solution or all that you can do is only complain and further complicate the situation. In the 90s people were sick of corruption, and that was pointed out as the major problem in Nepal. Now, that is being taken care of. Isn't that what you wanted ? I know that some people who only know to complain and who are fond of saying that Nepal is a failed state will never appreciate this also. They will see evil even in the current govt and the king's attempt to root out corruption from Nepal. The bare truth is that the political parties are afraid that the king might succeed because if he does then their relevance in Nepalese politics is going to get lesser. As for the maoist insurgency, a political solution sounds too theoretical and by the book at this point. They would never talk to the govt formed by politcal parties and they wanted direct talks with the king, and now they don't want to talk to the king either. And you think that such people should be trusted with caring for the people. The point to realise is that the govt wants a political solution but the maoists want to win it in the battle field so that after their victory they could impose a dictatorship in Nepal and force their idealogies upon everyone. And somebody mentioned before that the king is china's puppet and the enemy of india, america and the Britain. First-king is not china's puppet. Do you have any evidence? let alone proof. As for enemity with India, american and Britain, I don't think Nepal has done anything to harm them so how are we their enemy. Instead maoists are the ones who have spoken against these countries and could thus be the enemy. Some people in this forum are so obsessed with fantasy tales and extreme pessimism that it is pointless to respond to their postings. If peace is to be attained in Nepal the only way is to be united and support the king in the current situation.
