Sitara, your thoughts are quite deep but helpless and bound to be doomed. You probably have forgotten how relaxed our compatriots are. ----------------- I've more things here for you guys to think before blaming others? Sambhu Shrestha (i did not read his article) is right to the extent that Nepal has to depend on India for transportation of import and export goods, at least now. All other consequences are our, and solely our problems. It is easy to point the finger at India (or China whenever appropriate). The finger should always be pointing at us, us Nepalese. Now that big Industries are shut down in Nepal these big CEOs, presidents are enraged. What the hell were they doing when the times were relatively far better 10 years ago? Bribing officials in customs in Nepal and across the border? Flooding money to officicals in the Education Ministry so they could snatch away scholarships which should have been given to merited students? Or adding sand and dust in anything edible, from rice to daal to sugar? What our politicians were doing? Busy collecting bribes.... If I'm not correct, let me ask you what Nepal would have been if Nepal had an open sea to its border? Gone beyond India? Beyond China? What Nepalese politicians have done so much that we could have compared them to Jawahar Lal Nehru or Deng Xiao Ping? Or there would have been a private aircaft carrier to our ****'s name for private use while the rest of the people were still struggling for tonight's meal? In the end, I've to say India has been helping us somewhere and aggravating us somewhere else, not because India has inherent ill-intentions towards us but because India itself is developing and is far from having a balanced, far-sighted development to showcase the first world. Although I sound like an Indian, but believe me I'm not. My point is, we should look at our politicians, leaders etc first then other aspects when it comes to our problems. We should not have to cross the border to find the faults. The number one problem is the rampant corruption we have in our blood. Period!
