King G's actions just suits the desperate Nepali peoples expectations, but to go on and say King G did it for the country is stretching it. As I see it, the main reason for King G to resort to the coup' is to salvage kingship, but whatever outcome it brings he will have the best share of it to himself and Paras. As I read it somewhere, GPK was in the brink of bringing Maos to the table, King G tured the other way and did what e did...conclusion: He was afraid, in the long run the outcome would be against sustainense of Kingship. So the Nepali people have fallen into the paternal dependency by default.
