Methodman: You got me totally wrong bud. I have huge range of music that I listen to..I like mUsic not Genre..whatever people put it out there ..and if its solid..I would listen to it.. I like music that makes me thing twice , thrice or ..to eternity..I used to be a big time alternative/rock/grunge kinda guy back then( this is early 90s)...I loved what 90s had to offer..Pearl Jam, Nirvana..late 80s GNR album...70s doors...Metallica..and stuffs like those.. But as the years went by pop started to dominate..Spice girls..boy bands and what not..although I wont say I hate them but given the fact that they were so popular, now I struggle to remember their songs..thats cuz it were all chessy...and didnt really make u think.. my point is ..if more people create "music" that is fudamentally strong than it would just be there forever...thats what I meant by ROOTS..actually learning from the bottom...not just playing with some softwares, creating already created beats and unjustified hatred on mike..Yes, I have been listening to Tupac for quite some time..and its not WHY people arouind me listen to it..its cuz he had good sense of sensitivity, anger, and hypocrisy..he knew how to milk those factors..he had that punch in his voice...and used his pen as a sword...however, I dont like ALL of his songs..most of them are worth listening to..
