WE can no longer afford to give the military to the monarchy. It is this power that keeps him tickling day and night. Democracy has not an option. It is the only option. What did the monarchy do so far? Its one thing to talk about Prithvi Narayan, but Gyanendra is a totally different. The best option is to bring back the democratic parties, however bad they are. Let me tell you one thing, we achieved more during the 12 years of democracy than during the 25 or so years of Panchayat System. Hey, one last comment---it was the education under democratic nepal that allowed us to come and compete in the USA.
