On the contrary, the article makes very interesting reading, especially in these
censorship-blanketed times, when hope for a better life is short supply in Nepal
and among Nepalis.
It's heartening to read about Nepali entrepeneurs/business people in the US who
are doing something/taking risks to take charge of their own lives -- whether by
running restaurants that sell naan and chicken tikka or shops that sell Nepali
handicrafts.
Most positively ambitious people aspire to run their own business (or show) -- successfully, and it's great to see that ambitions for better life through hard work
are alive and well in Nepalis and going well for them.
Manju, whom I don't know, deserves thanks and appreciation -- and NOT derision.
After all, it's stories like this today (chronicles of immigrants' success in managing small
businesses) that someday lead us to other stories about how other Nepalis are running global companies.
