Ashu has termed the fight against the Maoists as Gyne' trump card. The trump card was played when Nepal dislodged the Tibetan shrines, I believe. The Maoist issue is one of the cards visible in the hand of G Shah. That it will not cut it I agree with Ashu. Without going into all the details, the King has effectively shot at his own foot, not once but at least twice, for one thing. It is totally wrong to put so much trust in the Army when the king is fighting against his own subjects, no matter how good the relationship between Mr. Thapa and G Shah. Remember Kot Parva?
