We will be hearing lots of these kind of news. OR, the army will use this sort of behavior as a scare tactics so there will be lesser uprisings. I have a feeling that Army will have better success of supressing Maoist under the King than any civilian or elected personal. Infact, the army did not want to perform under other people. If they secceded, the King could not have taken over.
