King made Right Decision

It's a good point that education, development and per capita income has gone up in these few years. So has the corruption rate, war victims, school closure and supression of human rights. There is no argument that democracy is the best option. But as for current situation in our country, where things were going berserk, such drastic action is welcome, at least being a Kathmandu dweller, now we can hope for no more bandhas, steady college sessions and comparatively more peace . Now only time will tell whether this action by the king is for good or bad. But, as for now, this was to happen. The way things were going out of hand, the way democracy was being treated as badar ko haat ma nariwal, badar being the so called "netas" who would do anything to get the "kursi", who would sign any accord to full his pocket and those who would start a riot just because he wasn't treated as a VIP. The best aspect of this action is that we can at least tell India that Nepal is a sovereign country. I believe it is better to be ruled by your king or politicians rather than implicitly being governed by a foreign power. During last few years all the corrupt politicians had sign various accords that would put our Nepal's existence in vain, from Tanakpur to Mechi. And for every decision, these "netaas" had to get a permission from our great neighbour. Well, "sama duri ko siddhanta " is what I would go for. We have both India and China as our neighbour and we should remember they are our neighbours, not patrons. Again only time will tell where this action would lead us, but for now, praise to the king for reminding us all that we are Nepalese and we can take a stand against the nosy neighbour.
