Bhole babaji No matter with which ever country Ganendra might make a power deal, he is not in a position to cause any changes within the country with out dealing with the internal insurgency. He doesnt want to leave his absolute grip on his semi-rattled military and does not want to make major political deal the rebels. Basically he is badly stuck in the mud and all he can do is scare political party every now and then by showing off his demoralized military but cant scare away the Maoists. By the way, Indian Army went to Sri Lanka to defeat Tamil Tigers in the 80s and pulled out without success.
