It looks the telephone lines to the outside world is also cutoff.
Nepalnews.com is fully silent.
Kantipuronline.com is not updating anything.
Ashu is under country arrest (equivalently), because he can not connect
to internet, otherwise he would have spoken something.
So, 23.5 million peoples are under arrest and Ashu is one of them.
No problem, there are some news agency they will wire some important
messages, they carry international telephone based on satelite, like
Iridium used to be in the past: 900dollars a month. Some peoples are
there who can afford such costly media items and they are worth under
such extreme conditions.
Now, did you try to have your own network as I proposed in a thread
of Earthquake disaster so that you can find whats going on in Nepal.
If you did not have, then you are going to suffer more "mentally".
I am not worried much about my relatives, because they are not in
active politics, so they will close their lips and just keep watching.
I am of course worried about the fate of Nepal as a whole and intl
news media will surely bring or leak some;thing.
Gyanendra is doing more harm to himself. He is bating, because
political parties did not work. In fact political parties failed. UML
always made double standard of pulling out of govt. and Deoba
was impotent. Girija was busy in finding a place where RNA will
search his helicopter or bag and making hue and cries. So,
all political parties were Kam kura ekatira kumlo boki thimi tira...
Main part of the blame goes to Girija, then, UML and then
finally Deoba. Mukundo dhari human rightists and journalists are
useful idiots who were unable to forecast what could happen.
Should Maoists be blamed? Who cares.
