"Indisguise, I have usually believed that a good cause needs no justification but NOT in this case." ---> Sitara, Yes i would love to agree with you, but unfortunately, you are talking in an IDEAL WORLD, where people from different back ground and understanding would obviously UNDERSTAND. But unfortuantely we live in REAL world, where ALMOST all actions needs to be voiced, if not justified. :) "The color of a person's mourning is a personal choice, like the choice of undergarments; some flaunt it and others don't. Boxers or briefs (or nothing); polka dots or stripes, wear it, the way one chooses to! " -------------> True. I agree. 100%. PERSONAL choice. But i beg to differ on sajha being a PERSONAL PLACE of ANYONE. NOt now, I believe its my place, yours, confused, ,foe, matrix etc and ofcourse SAN's. Succinctly, it is a PUBLIC forum. And public forum has certain obligations (not responsibility, if it was, we would not be discussing this) towards the sentiments of all and sundry. Thus sajha should have posted a condolence msg, instead of assuming that accepting a donation for the victims( which is totally justified and hugely impressive and comendable act) would be interpreted as condolence. Perhaps it is. Now that San pointed it out, i see his point of view and i kind of agree with it. Nevertheless, I believe a small msg of condolence from sajha on its homepage would have been something sajha could have done with. "Ah San, it saddens me that you did have to s-pe-l-l it out for those one dimensionals who do not have the capacity to discern the the thoughts behind the act of setting up a charity fund. Even the 3 year olds in my classroom have greater emotional intelligence than that. Again, thank you for all that you do." -------------> Hmmmmm, "one dimensionals"----well, as far as i can see, we ( one dimensionals) have appreciated and participated in the charity fund. I was merely voicing my opinion. If that does not exactly match with yours, we become "one -mentionals" ...."who do not have the capacity to discern the the thoughts behind the act of setting up a charity fund". We understand you, atleast ur stand on this view. Now please try to undrstand us as well, instead of terming us with some degrading remarks :) Neverthless ur remarks are succulent. Perhaps, you could not help it :p GTG for now.. pachi complet garchu ]IndisGUise:)
