Trump’s insistence on accepting the Quatari plane has cost the country, your tax dollars.
Everything he touches turns to shit,
The problem is the Quatari plane is just a suped up passenger plane used only for aesthetics where the old Air Force One plane is a military plane. It contained hardened wires to survive EMP’s from nukes, anti missile defenses, fully equipped operating room, and incredibly advanced and secure global communications, all of which the new plane is missing.
Initially, it was estimated to cost less than $400 million to renovate the plane, it ballooned past $1 billion, and the plane is deemed operationally unsafe to fly because Trump did not want to wait anymore.
Because of that, we just sunk $1 billion into a new plane on Trump’s insistence because he thought it looked better.
