Namaste everyone,
We’re hosting a small guided Tongba & Chhaang tasting event at KōMANA Brewing Company in Cary on May 31.
It’s a relaxed community evening focused on sharing a bit of Nepali Himalayan culture through traditional fermented drinks, storytelling, and conversation.
We’re looking to connect with any Nepali in the RDU area who might want to casually contribute something cultural to the evening.
Nothing formal or commercial, just community.
If you play maadal, sarangi, flute, guitar, sing folk songs, know cultural stories, or simply want to come hang out and help bring a Nepali vibe to the space, you’re more than welcome.
This is less about performance and more about representing our culture in an authentic, welcoming way for people who may be experiencing it for the first time.
If interested, please comment or message.
Would love to connect.
