So, by law, a 6-month extension started on April 25, 2025, and TPS should last until December 24, 2025. But on June 6, 2025, the government gave a 60-day notice ending TPS on August 5, 2025. That wrongly cut the 6-month extension short. The judge in the Haiti case said the government cannot do that. The law does not allow it.
