The states that were not part of the lawsuit will start implementing the EO on birthright citizenship in 30 days from today. This also gives the other states time to file any lawsuit, if they wish to. This decision also expands beyond this specific case. Federal Courts might no longer be able to issue nationwide injunctions for future lawsuits.
