This bill faces significant challenges in Congress due to the Republican majority, with none of the Republicans openly supporting it. I believe there are some Republican congressmen from heavily immigrant districts who are hesitant to oppose Trump's agenda but support the bill.

A positive outcome may arise from this bill. If the termination of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) is contested in court, a judge might view the case differently, considering that the legislative branch is attempting to take action. This could lead to a decision that prevents cancellation and allows more time to assess the legislative branch's plans for TPS holders.

Democrats are aware that Trump requires assistance to pass his big beautiful bill, as he currently struggles to secure full support from Republicans. Democrats hold some leverage if Trump seeks their help to advance his significant legislation.
In my opinion, Trump has a greater likelihood of passing his major bill, excluding stringent immigration priorities, with Democratic support rather than relying on hardline Republicans who are entirely opposed to increasing the federal deficit.
