In the mean time, I was held aghast to learn of honor-killing or other kinds of murder in the Sikh community in the UK and elsewhere, and domestic violence and murders in the Gujarati community in the US. Yes, homicides in the Nepali and Bhutani communities in the US are few and far between. I will give you that.
But regarding Nepali Hinduism, we graduated from a Sati system just 100 years ago. What else could be more atrocious than making an involuntary woman to burn alive with a decomposing corpse?
One more, Buddhism is absolutely Not a part of Hinduism - it's like saying Christianity is part of Judaism. Because of two reasons - there is no Caste system and consuming Beef is permissible.
