You did not provide the enough information about the Motor Vehicle response to determine the exact cause of

the verification failure using SAVE.

If they said " could not verify immediately," don't be concerned. You'll be notified as soon as they have new information. But here is the danger part, if they need to file G-845 with USCIS for your verification, that'll be a long story. I hope they didn't mention this to you.

And did you file any new case or any case pending with USCIS office? The majority of SAVE failures point to one of these causes as well.
