Fares will be around $ 1100-1500 from most cities. These prices appear higher compared to a year ago mainly because there are fuel surcharges. Fares appear even higher when you pay in NPR because of the exchange range of ≈ 130. The prices from JFK are cheaper than most cities because there is more competition in this route. Fares will decrease when the Chinese carriers will begin flying the US routes. A lot more airlines, such as Korean, Cathay and Singapore are flying between the US & Nepal, but they are not flying in their full capacity. Prices will also decrease when the Russia-Ukraine war is over.
