In a study released July 3 by the University of Washington School of Public Health in the Journal of Adolescent Health, researchers analyzed if being bullied increases the likelihood of having access to a loaded gun without adult permission. The study used data from the 2011 and 2013 School Crime Supplement to the National Crime Victimization Survey, which asks students about being bullied.

Also mental health could be other reason as well. US is very diverse geographically. In the remote part of US, there ain’t no police station. So the individuals have to protect themselve. Also in bigger cities such as Chicago and NY city, there are so many illegals guns, you could never get off from criminals. Ni would still want bipartisan bills to enforce stronger background check, registration, mental health status to renew guns and such. You know mental health can snap in a blink of eye so the families have responsibility to make sure everything is OK.
