My recommendation is go to new employer but ask to start PERM process as soon as possible and tell them this is make or break for you, on accepting the job offer. Right now the ball is in job seeker’s court. Since you already have backup plan, your current job, don’t be afraid to be clear and upfront about PERM with California people. There is no law that says you have to wait a year to start PERM. Tell them I need it started ASAP.
