House bill HR 6 was passed, and this is the same bill they try to pass in the Senate through reconciliation.
Now if you look at the language...for Adjustment of Status for TPS holders...
ALIENS ELIGIBLE FOR ADJUSTMENT OF STATUS.—An alien shall be eligible for adjustment of status
24 under this section if the alien is an individual—
(b) of section 244 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1254a(b))
on January 1, 2017, who had or was otherwise eligible for temporary protected status on such
date notwithstanding subsections (c)(1)(A)(iv)
Are they going to change the date? Otherwise, previous Nepalese TPS holders of 2015 are only qualified for Adjustment of Status ..
