Lot of people who disbelieve that the govt can make decisions that are not beneficial to the people, just look at the Afganisthan fiasco. Lots and lots of US army personnel had to lose their lives and for what? 2 trillion dollars made it to the defense contractors and industrialists with cushy kickbacks to the politicians. This is how America works. You may not be able to do anything about it but just knowing how it works will help you make better decisions when it comes to understanding these things.
