If you already have papers sorted out here and if you feel you can restart your career after 1-2 years of “sabbatical”, I think it may be a good idea to go back for short term and spend time with your parents. It’s a blessing.
I wish I had this option personally. Stuck in immigration quagmire. Oh well!
